Nichols has recognized 454 students who achieved Dean's List for their academic work during the spring term.

Nichols College, celebrating its Bicentennial, graduated almost 500 students on May 9th in Dudley, Massachusetts. Roger Berkowitz, the president and CEO of renowned restaurant chain Legal Seafood, delivered the commencement address.

Upsilon Phi Delta recognizes students who achieve distinction in healthcare administration, achieve academic excellence, and make outstanding contributions to the profession, and who uphold the highest ethical standards of the profession.

Students who participate in the H.O.P.E. Service Immersion Program form community with one another during the five months leading up to their trip. They learn about the culture, history and issues of social injustice in the communities they are destined to visit and serve.

Recognizing outstanding student academic achievement, Assumption College has named more than 500 students to the undergraduate Dean's List for the fall 2014 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Assumption students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 for a five-class, 15-credit semester.

Select students have been named to the Fall 2014 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.

The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that the following students qualified for the Fall 2014 Dean's List.

This semester, a total of 144 Stonehill students are studying abroad during the Spring 2015 semester in locations throughout the world. Recently named one of the top study abroad institutions in the nation by the Institute of International Education, Stonehill has more than 200 study abroad programs in 35 countries which students can choose from.

More than 400 Nichols students have earned Dean's List or Dean's High Honors during the just-completed fall term. The Dean's List recognizes students who have achieved high grades during a single semester. In order to be included in the Dean's List, a student must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.2 for at least 12 credit-hours and receive no grade below a C+ during the semester. A student who earns a grade point average of 3.6 or higher is awarded Dean's High Honors.

The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that more than 4,000 undergraduates have qualified for the Spring 2014 Dean's List. The students represent all of Rhode Island's cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, many other states and more than a dozen countries. More than half of the students are Rhode Islanders.

To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a 3.30 GPA, have no incompletes, and have no grade lower than a "C" for the semester. Full-time students must carry 12 or more graded credits for the semester.

At the University of Rhode Island's 128th Commencement on Saturday and Sunday, May 17-18, 2014, about 3,000 undergraduate and 680 graduate students became the University's newest alumni.

To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Assumption students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 for a five-class, 15-credit semester.

Assumption College's 97th Commencement ceremony was held on May 17 on the campus's H.L. Rocheleau Field, where 463 Bachelor of Arts degrees; 217 graduate studies degrees (Master of Arts and Master of Business Administration) and certificates; and 35 Continuing and Career Education degrees (Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science, and associates) were awarded.

About 2,000 Hofstra University students earned their undergraduate, graduate or law degrees during commencement ceremonies on May 18-19, 2014 at the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex. Watch videos or check out photos from the various ceremonies at hofstra.edu/commencement.

Hofstra University is proud to announce the Spring 2014 Provost's List, an elite group of students who have earned a perfect, 4.0 grade point average.

On April 30, 2014, 59 Hofstra University students were inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. Phi Beta Kappa is considered an emblem of high achievement and strong potential. The society celebrates and advocates excellence in the liberal arts and sciences.

This year, over 80 students presented their work at Assumption College's 20th annual Undergraduate Symposium. The Symposium is a celebration of student research and creative works that provides the campus community with an opportunity to gain a greater appreciation of the individual and collective, intellectual accomplishments of the College's faculty and students from all disciplines, including the humanities, fine arts, biological sciences, physical sciences and social sciences.

Many Stonehill College students will be spending their spring break week helping those in need as part of the school's H.O.P.E. Alternative Spring Break Program. The following local residents will be traveling the week of March 9th to California where they will be volunteering at the Coachella Valley Housing Coalition, a non-profit housing development corporation dedicated to helping low income families improve their living conditions through advocacy, research, construction, and operation of housing and community development projects.

Ten Nichols College students completed internships during winter break with various companies. Students can obtain internships starting sophomore year. Internships prepare students for professional work environments and give them an advantage in the job market following graduation.
