More than 200 students achieved perfect 4.0 grade point averages in the Fall 2013 semester, earning them a spot on Hofstra University's Provost's List. A student must complete at least 12 semester hours with 'A' grades to qualify. Hofstra University Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs Herman Berliner applauds these students' impressive success, and recognizes that past achievement is an excellent predictor of continued success in the future.

Fifteen Nichols College students were named Captains of their respective sports for the Fall, 2013 season. Together, these students have guided their teams to success on and off the playing fields by acting as leaders and role models for teammates.

The following local residents are among those to be named to the Roger Williams University Dean's List for the Spring 2013 semester. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

At the University of Rhode Island's 127th Commencement on Saturday and Sunday, May 18-19, 2013, more than 3,200 undergraduate and 770 graduate students became the University's newest alumni.

Nichols College's Office of the Registrar has announced the Dean's List for the spring semester of 2013. The Dean's List gives recognition to those students who achieve high grades during a single semester. In order to be included in the Dean's List, a student must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.2 for at least 12 credit-hours and receive no grade below a C+ during the semester. A student who earns a grade point average of 3.6 or higher is awarded Dean's High Honors.
